David Morton Bryant was a sales manger for an insurance company, served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to William Robert and Ethel Margaret Bryant. He attended Hot Springs High School and graduated in 1956 from high school in Dos Palos, California. He also attended Abilene Christian University and graduated from Sunset International Bible Institute. He was a Minister of the Church of Christ for several years in the U.S., Canada and Alaska and taught Bible in the Public School System of Poland during September 1996, which was sponsored by the Central Church of Christ at Victoria.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Betty Louise Bryant; his parents, William Robert and Ethel Margaret Bryant; one daughter, Jennifer Elizabeth Bryant; one son, Jeffrey Morton Bryant; two sisters, Jayne Reynolds and Brenda Daniels.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 18 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel with Travis Turman, Trent Campbell and Roy McLauring officiating. Military burial followed in Old St. Mary's Cemetery in Bayside.
