Cole W. Aungier, 5, of LaFayette, earned his wings while in his mother's arms on Monday. Surviving are his mom, Melissa, and stepdad, Steven Hughes of LaFayette; his siblings, Taryn Kosturik, Matthew Hughes, Sierra and Breiana Kosturik, and Logan Hughes, all of LaFayette; his maternal grandparents, Michael and Nancy Piro of Minoa, Judy and Terry Bloom of LaFayette; his aunt and godmother, Jennifer Michaud of Syracuse; his father, William P. Aungier; his paternal grandmother, Barbara Aungier of LaFayette; stepgrandparents, John and Judy Hughes of LaFayette; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Tait Funeral Home, Inc., 2333 Fenner Road, Cazenovia. Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
