Jean Dolson, 83, of LaFayette, New York, died Monday, June 4, 2012 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Born in Syracuse, New York, Jean was the daughter of the late Nathan and Minnie (VanTassell) Wallace. She retired from the payroll department at Crucible Steel and was a member of Crucible Steel Retirees.
Jean is survived by her husband of 62 years, Donald; three brothers, Robert Wallace of Virgil, New York, Richard Wallace of Syracuse, New York and Donald Wallace of Arizona; sister-in-law, Betty Wallace of Syracuse, New York; several nieces and nephews,
Jean's family would like to say a special "Thank you" to the staff on the 6th floor at Crouse Hospital, for the excellent care that Jean received.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, New York 13084 with a funeral service to immediately follow at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m.
