Clarence A. (Bud) Burton, 95, of West Sorrell Hill Road, Baldwinsville, died Monday at Community General Hospital.
Born in Sidney, Montana, he worked for King Laboratories, Inc. in Syracuse for over 20 years, retiring in 1978. He was a member of the Jordan Baptist Church, the Jordan Masonic Lodge, F&AM, #386 and the Skaneateles Lodge, Platt Chapter #247. He was also a member of the Jordan-Elbridge Senior Citizens. He was predeceased by his first wife Levina who died in 1975.
Surviving: his wife Margaret S. of Baldwinsville; two daughters, Norma Kratzer (Gary) of Baldwinsville and Leone Berry (Daniel) of Texas; a son Harry (Rebecca) of Baldwinsville; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services: 11 am Friday at the Gates Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sodus Rural Cemetery. Calling hours: 4 to 7 pm Thursday at the funeral home, 29 W. Genesee Street, Baldwinsville. A Masonic service will be held at 7 pm.
Contributions may be made to the Jordan Masonic Lodge, North Main Street, Jordan, NY 13080; or the Jordan Baptist Church, PO Box 605, Jordan, NY 13080.

I worked with Bud's wife, Margaret, at King Laboratories, the same place from which Bud retired. Margaret used to bring in cookies and pie that Bud had baked to share with us. Bud would also send in all kinds of fresh vegetables from his garden. He was always kind and smiling; we all looked forward to his visits.
