Margaret Truscott Banks was born in 1859 in Colchester, Essex; her father was Francis Truscott. I am presently verifying further information about Margaret, such as her mother's name.

Margaret married Reverend Thomas Hardy Banks in 1887; there is a brief notation in the paperwork forwarded to me that the couple wed in Cornwall. While I had always heard that they had only one child, their son Eddie - he would die on the battlefields of France at the age of 19 -, I now have verification that the couple had seven children, with Eddie the only boy. Perhaps this is where the confusion came in; I am not sure why the young women were literally dropped into blankness in our family history, but I am now actively seeking their histories, as well.

Notations from the UK Census site re marriage of Margaret and Thomas:
Thomas Hardy Banks
Possible Partners: Johanna Dunstan Or Margaret Truscott ... District: Falmouth ... County: Cornwall ...
Year: 1887 ... Quarter: Jul-Sep ... Volume: 5c ...
Page: 0244 ... Volume: 5c ... Page: 0244

While quite settled and respected - paperwork notes that Thomas and Margaret could comfortably afford to have 2 - 3 servants employed year round -, the family almost completely disappears from tracking around 1925. I have no idea why this seems to have occurred, but I am researching further leads and comments.

The link to her son Eddie's page will detail that event for readers; I would appreciate any information or comment whatsoever to help reunite these family members.
