Morristown Gazette, Wednesday, April 14, 1915:

"DIED.

The death of Miss Aurelia Carriger, occurred Wednesday morning at Asheville, N.C. Miss Carriger had been in poor health for a number of months and was in a sanitarium at Asheville. Mr. John Carriger, of this city, who is a brother of the deceased, went to Asheville Wednesday morning and will bring the remains to Morristown this (Wednesday) afternoon on the train arriving here at 4:50 o'clock. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, but the arrangements have not been completed.

Miss Carriger was the daughter of the late Dr. Michael Carriger and a sister of Messrs. James A. and John Carriger, well known citizens of Morristown. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Cornelia Jones, of Georgia. She was born and reared in Morristown and had a wide circle of friends here who will regret exceedingly to learn of her death. She was a member of the M. E. church, South."
