Bertha Wohler
Mrs. Bertha Wohler, a resident of Lincoln many years, passed away Friday night [Oct. 14] at Asbury hospital in Salina where she had been a patient several days. She was 93 years old.
Mrs. Wohler was born in Germany Aug. 24, 1867, but had lived most of her life in Lincoln county.
Surviving are three sons, Robert Wohler Jr. of Salina; Edwin Wohler of Kansas City, Kan., and Frank Wiegert of Oswego; a daughter, Mrs. Julie Petschow of Winter Haven, Fla.; four step-daughters, Mrs. Amelia Schmidt and Mrs. Grace Herren of Alma, Mrs. Margaret Meitler of Sylvan Grove, and Mrs. Hattie Meyer of Columbus, Ind.; one sister, Anna Lebien of Lincoln; one brother, W.O. Lebien of Herkimer; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The funeral of Mrs. Wohler was held Monday in St. John Lutheran church of which she was a member. The Rev. Theodore Stolp officiated and interment was made in the St. John cemetery.
