Hazel Pauline Adkins, 76, Russellville, Ala., died Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at her residence. Mrs. Adkins lived all her life in Franklin County and attended Charity Chapel Pentecostal Church. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2003, at Pinkard Funeral Home chapel, Russellville, with burial in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Officiating at the funeral will be Brother Denvil Keele. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. She is survived by her son, Ray Adkins and wife, Peggy, Russellville, Ala.; brother, Jerry Franks and wife, Dot, Athens, Ala.; grandchildren, J.R. Adkins, Bobby Steward, Tommy and Angie Steward; step-grandchildren, Wendell Greenleaf and wife, Leigh, Aaron Jerrell; step-great-grandchildren, Hannah and Shane Greenleaf. Pallbearers will include Jack Streetman, Joey Streetman, Ray Turbyfill, Jerry Woods, Randy McKinney and Jay Musgrove. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Adkins, and son, Charles Steward. Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
