Barbara J. Brown, 78, of Terre Haute died at 5:06 PM Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, in Union Hospital. She was a homemaker.
She was born Oct. 28, 1927 in Terre Haute to Thomas Porter Sr. and Eva Milton Porter. Her husband Edward Brown, died March 5, 2005. Survivors include one son, Michael Brown of Terre Haute; and one sister, Betty Rodneff of Praireton. She also was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and two sisters.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation was scheduled, with no services. DeBaun Funeral Home and Crematory assisted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
