Norman "Rick" Burgess, Sr., 60, of Beech Grove, IN passed away Friday, October 26, 2012. He was born May 16, 1952 in Beech Grove, IN to the late Clarence and Marie Burgess. Rick was a truck driver and hauled heavy construction equipment at Hertz Equipment Rental for many years. He was a member of the West Newton Masonic Lodge #707 and attended Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Rick cherished spending time with his family, going to the Suds to look at old cars, and riding his Harley. He is survived by his loving wife, Libby Burgess; sons, Ricky (wife, Katie), Chad (wife, LaMonica), and Greg Burgess; siblings, Runell Patton, Charles Burgess, Carolyn LaRussa, Judy Thomas, and Neddy Marshall; grandchildren, Becca, Kayla, Chase, Cameron, E.J., and Quint; sister-in-law, Jackie Cameron; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Little & Sons Funeral Home, Beech Grove Chapel, where the funeral will be Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
