Cheryl Lynn Fletcher, age 53, of Downers Grove passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 due to cancer. She was born on Nov. 6, 1958 in Champaign, IL. She was the cherished daughter of A. Eleanore, nee Carlstedt and Robert Fletcher and beloved sister of Christine Fletcher of Arlington, VA and Donna O'Donnell (Thomas) of Aurora. She is also survived by her nephew and nieces Thomas, Patricia and Jacalynn O'Donnell and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Gail Fletcher and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. CM Carlstedt and Mr. and Mrs. L.E. Fletcher. Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Toon Funeral Home, 4920 Main St., Downers Grove. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service, 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the First United Methodist Church, 1032 Maple Ave., Downers Grove. Interment at Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society , First United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice .
