John Dyer McCoy, 53, of Hughes, AR, passed away Friday 3 APR 2009 at Crittenden Regional Hospital in West Memphis, AR.
John's cause of death Celiac Disease. Celiac disease is a genetic disease and it passed to John on the Dyer side of the family. None of the McCoy family has Celiac or complications from the disease.
John is survived by his son, Jonathan Carlos McCoy and wife, Miranda of Stuttgart, AR; his daughter, Shannon Ashley Yarbrough of Stuttgart, AR; his mother, Clara "Irene" McCoy of Hughes, AR; his sister, Betty "BJ" McCoy Saunders and husband, Richard "Rick" of Hot Springs, AR; his brother-in-law, Charles Richard "Dick" Hill of Houston, TX and two grandchildren, Kiley and Gavin Scott Yarbrough, both of Stuttgart, AR. He was preceded in death by his father, John Teague "JT" McCoy, Jr. and his sister, Dorothy "Dot" McCoy Hill.
