Bill married Theresa Cecilia Lewandowski on 4 APR 1951.
He is survived by his two sons, Charles Louis "Butch" Bailey, Jr. and Bernard Ray Bailey, and many grandchildren.
Bill was an architect by trade but an avid huntsman. At the Bailey's home in Almeda, Bill built a shooting table to sight in his guns. Then more shooting tables were added. His friends would come shoot. Then Mrs. Bailey thought they could open a gun range and gun store and that is how Bailey's House of Guns and Bailey's Gun Range came to be. Now there is a rifle and shotgun range, pistol and combat range, issue of shooting licenses, gunsmithing and friendly league competitions.
Bill went to Africa and hunted throughout the US. Many of his trophies are mounted in the store for all to view.
