There are variations of the Teague family name, depending on who was writing and who was spelling. I have also seen the name as "TIGUE" which is due to the old world, Scottish pronunciation of "TIG" like "FIG". Old World was the "I" as in "it". The current world, or American, pronunciation is long "E" as in "reed".

John Teague and Sallie are my great-grandparents.
