George Bracy
George Bracy, who has been in declining health from the effects of an operation performed over a year ago died at his home in the southwest part or the town on Sunday, March 28th.
The deceased was born at Chateaugay Lake 63 years ago a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Asher Bracy and had been a resident of this vicinity practically his entire lifetime following the occupation of farming. He was well known and highly regarded as a splendid type of citizen and his death is keenly mourned.
Surviving are his wife the former Maud Laplant, and the following children Harold, Beatrice, Dorothy, Mrs. Elmer lby, Esther, Ross, Earl, Robert and, Hazel Bracy. He is also survived by two daughters and four sons by a former marriage, Mrs. Iris Labarge, of Potsdam, and, Inez, of Saranac Lake, Walter, John, Floyd and George, of Chateaugay Lake, one brother, Ernest Bracy, ol Chateaugay Lake, two sisters, Mrs. Edward Sweet, of Mooers, and Mrs. Ami White of Greenfield, Mass.
Funeral services were held at the Brainardsvil!e Methodist church on Tuesday afternoon, March 30th, Mrs. W. S. Pittinger officiating and interment was made at that place.
