HAMILTON, Mo. - Anna Mae (Watts) Conkling, 56 Hamilton, died Sunday Oct. 26, 1997, at the Cameron, Mo., hospital of an apparent heart attack.

Mrs. Conkling had been employed by the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Hamilton.

Born in Union Star, Mo., on Jan. 1, 1941, she graduated from the high school there. She was a member of the Kidder, Mo., Christian Church.

On May 8, 1959 she married Robert Conkling in Oak, Mo. He survives of the home.

Mrs. Conkling was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra K.; her parents, Artie and Anna F. Watts; and a brother Artie Watts.

Additional survivors; four sons, Robert B., Hamilton, Michael J., Smithville, Mo., Edward A., Gladstone, Mo., and Daniel L., Independence, Mo.; a daughter, Anna M. Assel, Kingston, Mo.,; a brother, Raymond Watts, Globe, Ariz.; two sisters, Helen K. Smith, King City, Mo., and Bonnie S. Mitchell, Metamora, Ill.; and nine grandchildren.

Service:10:30 a.m.Wednesday, Oak Christian Church, Oak. Burial; Blakley Cemetery, near St. Joseph. Family visitation; 7 to 8:30 tonight, at the Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.
