On December 10, 1905, Ceaster Brown became the first born child of Israel and Sally Brown. He spent his early childhood in St. Matthews, South Carolina. As a young man he moved to Charleston, South Carolina until 1930 when he migrated to New York City, and decided to make it his home.
On April 30, 1942 he joined the Armed Forces and served his country in the 2nd World War. He was honorably discharged in 1945.
He met and married Martha Webster. He was a loving and devoted husband.
He loved and was loved by all children as well as adults, as is always true of a man with a kind and loving nature.
After a short illness on Saturday, March 27, 1976, the sunshine went out of our lives when our husband, father, and brother went home to rest.
He leaves to mourn their lost, a devoted wife, four sons, three daughters, two grand-children, three sisters, a mother-in-law, one sister-in-law, three brothers-in-law, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
