Tap Dancer whose career bridged dance eras, from Bill Robinson to Savion Glover. He was a dance prodigy, starting in the streets of Harlem as a child, to Broadway. He was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance in "Black and Blue". He danced on the Ed Sullivan Show, the Newport Jazz Festival, and for Duke Ellington's Orchestra when they toured. He appeared in the 1989 film "Tap".
