Major League Baseball Player. He played Major League baseball for sixteen seasons as a pitcher for the Washington Senators (1926 to 1931, 1935), the Chicago White Sox (1932), the St. Louis Browns (1932 to 1934), the New York Yankees (1936 to 1940), the New York Giants (1941) and the Philadelphia Athletics (1941). In his years with the Yankees he helped win three World Series Championships with the team. During his career he had a record of 161 Wins-165 Losses and 1,318 strikeouts.
