Les died Tues., July 10, 2007, at Southcrest Hospital, Tulsa, at the age of 70.
The son of Cyril John and Martha (Stone) Boegemann was born Jan. 3, 1937, in Keysport, IL. Les grew up and attended school in St. Louis. On Dec. 31, 1963, he married Janet Earlene Feldman in St. Louis, where they made their home for several years. They lived in Indiana and Norris City, IL, before moving to Claremore 22 years ago. Les worked as an engineer for McDonald-Douglas in St. Louis, and retired from Rockwell International, Tulsa. He enjoyed his home, family, friends, and working on computers. Les was a member of the Lion's Club, St. Louis, Rockwell Management Club, and the First Baptist Church, Claremore.
Les is survived by his wife, Janet of the home; sons: Thomas Pleasants of Florida, Mark Boegemann and wife, Michelle of Sugarhill, GA, and Les Boegemann and wife, Mary of Benson, AZ; daughters: Angela Childress and husband, Jerimiah of Tulsa, and Kelly Birley and husband, John of Claremore; mother, Martha Boegemann of Rosedale, IL; sisters: Nola Stocker and Vetta Day of St. Louis; and grandchildren: Phillip, Zack, and Holly Boegemann, Brooke and Brittanny Boegemnan, Jordan and Joelle Childress, IsaacBoegemann, and Christian Birley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cyril Boegemann.
