James Terry Butler, age 53, of Killen, Ala., died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at Florence Nursing and Rehab Center of an extended illness.

He was a native of Lauderdale County, Ala. He was a retired saw operator with Hon (Bevis) Co. He was a member of Northwood Methodist Church.

The funeral service will be Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at 2 p.m., at Greenhill Funeral Home chapel, with Brother Gregg Woodard officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, from 5-8 p.m. at Greenhill Funeral Home.

Survivors are his wife, Brenda Grigsby Butler, Killen, Ala.; son, Cassidy Butler, Killen, Ala.; daughter, Ashley Gargis, Florence, Ala.; and brother, Jeffery Butler, Florence, Ala.

Mr. Butler was preceded in death by his parents, William Bill Butler and Emma Jean James Butler.

Pallbearers are Jeremiah Davis, Mickey Grigsby, Hank Carter, Joshua Grigsby, Ryne Parker and Bobby James.
