Civil War: Company K, 29th Ohio Infantry

Albert N. Alderman* was born in Ohio, the son of Jesse Alderman and Luru Cook. He married Elizabeth Brennan in Ohio about 1855. During the Civil War he enlisted as a private for 3 years on October 20, 1861, and was mustered into Company K, 29th Ohio Infantry, December 30. Private Alderman was mustered out for disability on April 4, 1863. He filed for a Civil War pension in California on August 2, 1890, and received pension No. 686,461. He was a member of John Sedgwick Post, No. 17, Grand Army of the Republic.
