The memorial service for Monica Cordero Farrar will be held at the Lompoc Foursquare Church on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at 2:00 p.m.. Pastor Bernie Federmann will officiate.

Mona was born December 17, 1962 in Santa Barbara.

She graduated from Lompoc High School with the class of 1981 and attended Allan Hancock College for two years studying Early Childhood Development. She worked for several years as a technician with 3M Vision Care in Santa Barbara and later as a receptionist with Lompoc House of Reality.

She enjoyed crafts and being a wife and mother.

She passed away early Wednesday morning, December 6, 2006.

Mona is survived by her husband of 22 years, Gifford Farrar of Lompoc; daughters, Christine and Heather Farrar of Lompoc, sisters , Marian Sanders of Lompoc, and Christine Van Eck of Orange, California; brother Anthony Cordero of Lompoc; and her adopted parents, Bob and Shirley Ring of Buena Park; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded on death by her sister Emmarita Cordero.

Memorial donations may be made to the Artificial Kidney Center at 217 West Pine in lompoc.

Cremation will be followed by private inurment in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
