Tommy was born on Dec. 12, 1939, in Filmore, Calif. He spent 27 years serving the citizens of Kings County in a law enforcement capacity. He was the Kings County Sheriff for 12 years and was best known for bringing a fully equipped SWAT team to the organization. He also brought the DARE program to Kings County students. On retirement, he moved to Texas to begin his life as "gentleman" rancher.
