Ruth Ann (Hawkes) Beauregard, 78, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2009 in BayState Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born in Warren, MA, the daughter of the late Walter A. & Ethel M. (Tuttle) Hawkes and graduated from Warren High School. She leaves her husband of 23 years, Robert J. Beauregard of Warren; two sons, James A. Smith of North Carolina & Philip A. Smith of Brimfield; two daughters, Dorinda R. Gorski of Wilbraham & Cindy Mary Smith of Brookfield; two step sons, Paul Beauregard of Mississippi & Roland Beauregard of Spencer; two step daughters, Eileen Giard of Gilbertville & Diane Carpenter of Mississippi; 2 grandchildren, Melinda & Steven; two great grandchildren, Jordan & Mackenzie. She was predeceased by her first husband Franklin Smith; a brother, Walter H. Hawkes and a sister, Ethel L. Arventos. Ruth worked for many years at the Old Hickory Smoke House in Palmer. She loved flowers, birds and especially her cats.
The funeral for Ruth will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 10:00AM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, Rte. 9/Old West Brookfield Rd., Brookfield. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5:00-7:00PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemtery in Warren.
