Nancy J. (Flannagan) Andrews, 47, of Halfrey Road, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 29, 2009 after a lengthy illness.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, John T. Andrews; two sons, Jared T. Andrews and Brenton J. Andrews, both of Hubbardston; her parents, Thomas F. and Marilyn (Stirewalt) Flannagan of Clinton; three sisters, Linda D'Onofrio and Karen Kilcoyne, both of Lancaster, and Trisha McNally of Leominster; a brother, Thomas Flannagan of Sterling; and nieces and nephews.

Nancy was born and raised in Clinton and resided in Hubbardston since 1985. She graduated from Clinton High School and earned an Associate's degree in Nursing from Quinsigamond Community College and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Assumption College. She was a registered nurse at Park View Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Leicester for several years. Previous to her nursing career, she worked as an office manager at Fitchburg State College and at Charles Perkins Engineering Co. She served as troop leader for the Hubbardston Cub Scouts and later as treasurer for the Hubbardston Boys Scouts. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She attended Heritage Bible Chapel, was an avid walker and enjoyed spending time with her family and summers at Sebago Lake in Maine.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2nd, at the Miles - Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 3rd, at the Heritage Bible Chapel, 182 Brooks Station Road, Princeton. Burial will follow in Reservoir Pines Cemetery, Clinton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heritage Bible Chapel, Benevolence Fund, P.O. Box 1096, Princeton, MA 01541; or the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Pastor's Aid Fund, P.O. Box 986, Acton, MA 01720.
