Debra is survived by her husband, Robert R. Audette; a daughter, Catherine Riel of Auburn; a stepson, Robert Audette Jr. of Auburn; a stepdaughter, Sarah Audette of Worcester; three brothers: Michael Riel of Worcester, Edward Riel and his wife Evelyn of Virginia and George Riel of Worcester; many aunts and uncles, including Barbara and Paul Boudreau of Worcester; her mother-in-law, Irene Audette of Webster; and many nephews and nieces.
She is a graduate of Worcester Vocational Technical High School where she studied early childhood education. Mrs. Audette worked as a shift Supervisor at the CVS in Charlton and previously worked for Allegro.
Debra was a Walt Disney enthusiast, a true Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed traveling.
The funeral will be held on Friday, December 18th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are on Thursday, December 17th from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
