Mrs. Barbara Ann (Daniels) Borglund, 71, wife of I. Kenneth Borglund passed away Friday, September 9, 2011 after a brief struggle with cancer.
Born in Worcester September 4, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Cecilia Sullivan Daniels and R. Lawson Daniels.
Barbara attended Commerce High School and was a secretary at Adley Trucking thereafter for many years. She mostly enjoyed traveling with her husband Kenneth as well as spending time with her family and friends, especially Ellie, Brenda and Alma. She was an avid reader and loved to have tea with her nieces as well as spending time with her great nieces and nephews. Barbara loved the beach and her time each year in Florida with her husband of 52 years, Kenneth.
Barbara is survived by her husband, I. Kenneth Borglund; two brothers, Donald Daniels of Worcester and David Daniels of North Adams. She was predeceased in death by her brother, Raymond Daniels in 2010 and Robert Daniels in 2011.
Funeral services and burial for Barbara will be private. There are no visiting hours. Memorial contributions in Barbara's name may be made to the American Cancer Society , 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Arrangements are under the care of LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St., Worcester.
