Funeral services for W. M. Blagg, 86, father of Mrs. Virgil L. Lindsey and Mrs. Nathan Laycock of Chillicothe, were held from his home in Harris Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by the Rev. Lloyd Wilks. Burial was in the Harris cemetery. Mr. Blagg's death occurred at his home Saturday night following a long illness.
He was a veteran of the Spanish American war and a former publisher. For many years he was editor and publish of the Harris Herald.
In addition to his wife and the two daughters, Mr. Blagg is survived by four sons; H. E. and Hale Blagg of Chicago, Wood and Bob Joe of Harris and two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Margaret Reed of Kansas City, Mrs Lora Hurst of Omaha and Henry Blagg of Des Moines.
