Father of United States President Grover Cleveland, Reverend Richard Falley Cleveland, was a Presbyterian minister. His wife, Ann Neal Cleveland, was the daughter of a Baltimore publisher. Their son, Grover, was the fifth of nine children and the second of three sons. Rev. Cleveland was a well educated man, graduating from Harvard. Rev. Cleveland died when Grover was sixteen years old.
