Photo Chemist. Philip was the son of Walter Thomas and Jane (Akinson-Watson) Hewett, the only child born in America. Philip took over his father's job as an emulsion chemist at Eastman Kodak. He left his job in 1957 for his children's health. One having contracted TB and moved to LA. Later the family moved to the high desert in California where he worked for a Rancher and was a local repair man.
He contracted systemic Cancer and parished among his trees and goats.
