Called Jack, he was the second husband of Carrie Evelyn Hammons and they were the parents of Mary Helen and Esther. He was the Bidwell Park Commissioner in Chico for many years. Uncle Jack served as a Sgt. in WWI, 78th Field Artillery, 6th Division. He also designed many building in Butte Co., CA.
