LUTTRELL, William Roy "Jiggs," age 71 of Manchester, a native of Estill Springs, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2010 at Alvin C. York Veterans Hospital in Murfreesboro, following an extended illness. Mr. Luttrell was a Baptist. He was employed as a sheet metal fabricator at Nissan for almost 30 years. He was also a self-employed sub-contractor for Bowing and Browning, doing sheet metal fabrication. Mr. Luttrell was a U.S. Army veteran, having served his country in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Bessie Luttrell. Mr. Luttrell is survived by his son, Tony Luttrell and wife Annette of Athens, Ala.; sisters, Marie Brannon of Arkansas, Nina Millrany of Winchester Springs and Jessie Smith and Opal Hickman of Winchester; brothers, Marion
"Dude" Luttrell of Portland and George "Johnny" Luttrell and Leon Luttrell, both of Manchester; step-granddaughter, Kasie Dugger of Ardmore, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews. Interment was in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Huntland,Tn. with military honors bestowed.
