Graveside service for George Dallas Harris, 64, will be at 10 a.m., August 19, 2005, at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Mr Harris, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005, at County Comanche Memorial Hospital, in Lawton.

Arrangements are by Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

He was born, Sept. 9, 1940, in Boswell, Chocataw, Co., Ok, to Alva Benton and Elsie Lorene Smith Harris. He graduated from, Lawton High School, in Lawton,Ok. After High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army , on Jan.31, 1964, in Oklahoma City, Ok.. He received an Honerable discharge on August 25, 1966. He attended Cameron University and worked in the building industry.

Survivors include a brother, Dewey Harris,of the home, in Lawton, four sisters; and three brother-in-laws; Geraldine Rose Cooper, Cache, Ok.,Mary Jo and Dennis Saunders, of Fletcher , Ok., Helen Fay and Larry Wright, of Indiahoma, Ok.,and Dianna kay and Billy Flynn, of Mulvane, Ks.; five neices and nephews; several great-neices and nephews; and several great-great-neices and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Alva Jerry Harris; a neice, Lisa Kay Harris; and an infant sister.
