DENISON - William Kenneth Smith, 81, passed away, Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at his residence in Denison.
The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home for visitation Sunday, December 4, 2011, from 4 - 6 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, December 5, 2011, at Fairview Cemetery Chapel, 1501 Hwy. 91 N, Denison, TX. 75020 with Pastor Novice Northington officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Kenneth was born August 6, 1930, in Cunningham, Texas, the son of John T. Smith and Ida Mae Townsley Smith. He was of the Baptist faith; was in the US Army from 1952-1954 and served in Germany; loved to read and work crossword puzzles; watch sports-Texas Rangers and Cowboys; tend to his cows and he worked for Central Freight for over 20 years.
He is survived by daughters Nancy Smith and husband Jerry of Pottsboro, Audra Burnett and husband Kurt of Denison; grandchildren Brandon Thomas Smith, Timothy Bret Smith, Tamara Lea Smith, Macey Smith Watson, Austin Scott Burnett and Samantha Kate Smith; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
