Note; Thomas Barlow, came to America from Scotland, before the Revolutionary War. died between 1820 and 1825, Memphis, Shelby County Tennessee, and was buried there. Thomas Barlow and his family came to White County Illinois, in 1818, and were recorded in the 1818 census there. They returned to Shelby County,Tennessee, before 1820 and were recorded there in the 1820 census. His widow, Elizabeth Barlow, returned to Illinois with her four sons in 1825 and was recorded in Montgomery County, Illinois, in the 1830 census.
