WILLIS C. ALDRICH

Willis C. Aldrich was born at Kendall, VanBuren county, Michigan, October 12, 1865. and died at Cedaredge, Colo., March 21, 1934, at the age of 68 years, 5 months and 9 days. When 21 years of age Mr. Aldrich moved to Kansas, where he took up a homestead near Brownell and resided in that locality until 1929 when he came to Cedaredge and made his home. On September 29. 1891, he was united in marriage to Miss Alice Westover, at Brownell. To the union were born five children, one of whom died in infancy. The wife and mother passed away in May, 1909. The surviving children are: H. W. Aldrich of Leola, Kan., Dora Brewer of Hoisington, Kan., Oliver F. Aldrich cf Granada, Colo., and Gladys Overbey of Cedaredge. Two brothers, 17 grand children and one great grandchild also survive. Funeral services were held at the Cedaredge Baptist church Sunday afternoon with Rev. J. H. McQuery in charge. Burial was made in the Cedaredge cemetery.
