Betty M. Buckler, late of New Lenox, died September 16, 2000 at her residence.
    She is survived by her husband of 50 years Demarie L. Buckler, her son Demarie (Donna) Buckler of California, her daughter Deborah (Mark) Boswell of St. Louis, Mo., 3 grandchildren Joseph D. Buckler, Lesley Boswell, and Paul Boswell, one brother Phillip (Camine) McDonald and one sister Ida McDonald.
    She was a 55 year member of Eastern Star Margarete Chapter #187, Bethany Shrine #7, Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem, and a life member of Harry Anderson V.F.W. Post 9545 Ladies Auxiliary.
    Funeral services will be Tuesday 10am at the Hickey Memorial Chapel 442 E. Lincoln Hwy. New Lenox. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Joliet Area Hospice of New Lenox Library would be appreciated. Visitation Monday 5-9pm.
