Burial was in Woodside Cemetery under direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline.
Mrs. Bradford died August 9, 2008, at her residence.
She was born April 16, 1930 in Big Springs to Paul and Ruthie Thompson Madison. She married Robert Bradford in 1949. She was a resident of Grand Saline since 1984. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the choir. She worked as a healthcare administrator. She was a member of Eastern Star and VFW Auxiliary, and sang at local nursing homes.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Madison; her husband of 58 years, Robert Bradford; children, Rocky Wayne Bradford and Peggy Suzanne Parten; grandson, James Bradley Parten; sister, Mary Thomas; and brother, Gene Madison.
Survivors include her mother, Ruth Madison, Midland; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Terry Trewin, Alba; sister, Doris Sue Barnett, Midland; grandchildren, Candice Bradford, Tessa Walston, Amy Pate, Michael Parten, Justyn Bradford, Jessica Divine and Rocki Suzanne Moore; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers included Mike Parten, Michael Parten, Terry Trewin, Justyn Bradford, Brannon Pate, Troy Marshall and Michael Divine.
