Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, the Rev. Dan Gilliam officiating. Burial: Woodside Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Sherman Hughes, Murry Means, Leland Currey, Rick Ingrim, Jerry Hickman, and Mike Maciel.
Mr. Bradford was born Jan. 15, 1929, in Graham. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and U.S. Marine Corps. He enlisted at 16 and was active during World War II. He had lived in Grand Saline since 1983, where he was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Lions Club, Masonic Lodge, VFW and America Legion. He was retired from the Fort Worth Police Department as a police officer, as chief of police for the city of Grand Saline and as a city judge.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert P. and Bertie Fowler Bradford; son, Rocky Wayne Bradford; daughter, Peggy Suzanne Parten; sister, Fern Nicklas; and grandson, James Bradley Parten.
Survivors: His wife of 58 years, Wanda Bradford of Grand Saline; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Terry Trewin of Alba; seven grandchildren, Amy Pate, Michael Parten, Justyn Bradford, Jessica Divine, Rocki Suzanne Moore, Candice Bradford and Tessa Walston; and nine great-grandchildren.
