Gavin Eskline was a man from Scotland with a passion for The American Civil War. During the Summer of 2005, he and his best friend James Paris toured The United States and all of the Major Battlefields of the Civil War. In October he ran into the 23rd Pa Re-enactors and was invited to fall in. It was a dream come true for him and something he talked about for the next 10 months. He was killed in a motorcycle accident on July 17th 2006 in Scotland. Our "23rd Scottish Member" will be missed.
