Donald Ray Bass was a loving father and husband. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Some of the things he loved to do was go fishing, hunting, dancing, horse back riding, play dominoes/cards. He made a living driving a truck. Sometimes he would take a break from it and do a little roofing but would always go back to trucking. For several years before his death he owned two trucks that were constantly on the road. Because his children were all grown at this time, his wife (Virgie) went on the road with him. As team drivers they became best friends again, and he was able to show her places in the U.S. that he has seen many times. They both enjoyed it tremendously.
He is loved and missed very much each and every day.
