Ellen C. Condon 80 of Lake city died Saturday January 20,1983 at Shady Oaks Nursing Home, Lake city Iowa Mrs. Ellen C. Condon daughter of Oscar (Frank) and Ellen Pierce Clark was born June 21, 1902 at Harris Iowa. She moved to the Lake City area at a very early age. She was married to Harold Condon on July 22, 1923 at Rockwell City Iowa. She was a member of the Woodlawn Christian Church, The Lake City Garden Club, and the Coterie Club. She work as an telephone operator in Lake city for number of years. Funeral Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday February 1, 1983 at the Woodlawn Christian Church, Lake City Iowa. With Rev. Chris Nettles officiating Burial will be Lake City Cemetery under the direction of Huffman Memorial Chapel. Mrs Melvin Campbell was organist. Mrs. Herbert Doty and Mrs Von Pierce were vocalists. Casket Bears . were Charles Ford, Jack Clark, Robert Clark, Don Ihrke. Duane Clark and Dan Campbell. Mrs. Condon is survived by her husband, Harold of Lake City. and one son Harlan Condon of Glenwood Iowa. and one brother Clarence Clark of Lake City Iowa: Six Grandchildren (Don Kids) Eugene, Connie, Jerry, Kristi, (Harlan Kids) Cindy and Julie and two great grandchildren. (Connie Kids) Donald and David Allen,. Preceding Mrs. Condon in death were her parents and one son Donald and one brother George Clark.
