parents of Amanda. On September 25, 1856 she married John Sanford King in Madison County Georgia. Children from this union were twins William A.and Sarah, June 1857; Mary Frances, 1859, and James T. 1862.
Note: On May 3, 1863, Amanda's husband, John Sanford King was killed in the Battle of Chancellorsville in Virginia.
