Ryan was a 1997 graduate of North Central High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University where he was a member of the Theta Xi Fraternity. Ryan loved his career in the hospitality industry where he most recently served as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown Nashville. His personality truly made him a "people person" and he was blessed with a wealth of friends. He was well-loved, dedicated and trustworthy to all. A passion he shared with many friends was music, and he was an accomplished pianist.
In addition to his parents, survivors include aunts, Laura Mathews and Gail Meilner; uncles, Bill Stenberg, Mike Mathews and David Meilner; cousins, Molly, Natalie and Julia Mathews and Angela Meilner. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Bruce and Eleanor Stenberg, James and Jean Hartman and cousin, Mark Meilner.
