Alma never married, however, she adopted one daughter, Dorris (Reed) Sutton, Crites. Alma and her best friend, Rev. Maud O'Guin each adopted one of twin girls, and, always kept them close. Alma was considered "one of the family". She was truly a Christion woman, a hard worker, and a humble person.
