They had five children: Arthur Larned Ryerson jr, Ellen Ashfordbye Ryerson, Susan Parker Ryerson, Emily Borie Ryerson and John Borie Ryerson. In 1927 Emily married Forsythe Sherfesee. She died in Montevideo, Uruguay.
