Kenneth Wayne Carter, M.D., age 59 of Gainesville, formerly of Gulf Breeze, FL and Marietta, GA, passed away on March 30, 2013. Kenneth graduated from Wheeler High School in Marietta, University of Georgia in Athens and Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He was board certified in Neonatology and Pediatrics and practiced in Pensacola, FL at Sacred Heart Hospital from 1984 to 2000 and at Cumming Pediatrics (Northside Forsyth Hospital) from 2001 to the present. Kenneth is preceded in death by his father Verlon Carter.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Brabham Carter; son, Clifton Carter; daughter, Maggie Carter; grandson, Dante Warren; mother, Ludella Ollis Carter; brothers, Larry Carter, Jerry Carter; sister, Linda Carter Denman and many loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Cumming First United Methodist Church with Rev. Kathie Stasko and Rev. Dr. Buddy Corbin officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cumming First United Methodist Church Food Pantry, or the Northside Forsyth Special Care Nursery at www.give.northside.com .
