Sue Samples, age 64, of Cumming went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, September 9, 2016. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. To all those who knew her, she was a beautiful lady who loved her family and her Savior. She was a member of River Valley Baptist Church in Murphy, NC.
She is the daughter of the late Horace and Lillie Mae Coker. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Coker; sisters, Terry Ruth Adams, Shena Liesring, Tammy Emory; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, the late Junior and Grace Samples.
She will be cherished and missed by her husband, Rev. Emory Samples,3 sons and 2 daughters. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, 5 brothers. She also leaves behind a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 17, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Spurr and Rev. Jack Biddy officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.
