In his short lifetime James was a happy much loved little boy who gave his parents Denise and Ralph lots of joy. He enjoyed music and loved dancing and making people laugh. This is the way we should remember this gorgeous little boy whose story has touched so many people's hearts.James Bulger was lured from his Mother's side during a shopping trip on February 12th 1993.
He was just 2 years old, and like all toddlers, was getting restless.
His Mum called into one last shop before planning on heading home - a butchers shop to purchase some meat for tea that evening.
She let go of James' hand for just a few short seconds while she paid for her purchase.
In those few seconds, he was gone.
CCTV images of James being lured away by two older boys - now sends shivers up the spine of anyone who views them.
The two boys, turned out to be just 10 years old.
They lured little James away, before taking him on a 2 mile long walk, harming him along the way.
Several people saw them, sometimes the boys said that James was their little brother, other times they said they had just found him alone and crying and were taking him to the police station - all lies.
Eventually, they took James up onto the railway tracks where they subjected him to the most horrific injuries.
Beating him with bricks and throwing paint in his face.
James eventually lost consciousness and was left laying across the tracks.
Two days after he disappeared, children playing on the track discovered him - a train had gone over the body, cutting him in two.
A most horrific murder by two young boys.
